Boathaven Spa Resort is located directly across from Boathaven Bay. Currently the bay is under construction as the new 'Port of Airlie' (Queensland's most prestigious marina complex) is being built. At times there is noise from certain projects happening at the Port of Airlie. They do not work on the site before 9:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. nor do they work on Sundays. You still have amazing views out to the Coral Sea and Islands, however you will be looking over the marina project to see out to the Coral Sea.
